[antlr-interest] error message

Hi,all!
    when I edit my .g file named "first.g",and run:
    java -classpath D:\antlr271 antlr.Tool first.g
this message emerged:
   error: Token stream error reading grammar(s):antlr.TokenStreamRecognitionException: expecting '*', found ' '

What's the matter?
How to correct it?
