[antlr-interest] No code generated with -diagnostic option?

Hi gang,

I'm using the C++ code generator, and I've noticed that when I use 
the -diagnostic option on the command line, it's not generating 
any .cpp or .hpp files.  Is something on my end wrong, or is this by 
design?

And if it's by design, why?
