[antlr-interest] does javacc do k>1 lookahead nondeterminism checks?

Gang,
From this faq entry of javacc:

it appears that once you go k>1 then it does not do checking for you.
That would make sense it's hard to do in a nonexponential way ;)
Can anybody comment?
