If you want to do this the hard way, get a copy of emacs and study their
language-specific modules :-)

Cheers,

Subject: [antlr-interest] creating editor to do syntax highlighting

I am implementing an editor for my custom language that highlights
keywords in my language.

I am wondering if ANTLR would be the proper tool in this case. How
do java editors such as Eclipse determine syntax errors so quickly?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated
