[antlr-interest] C++ grammer and AST.

Folks,
I am a little confused as to how an AST is generated. 
Once the parser/lexer grammer is available, what do I have to 
do to get the AST? Specifically, I am trying to get ASTs using 
the C++ grammer on the ANTLR site. 

Also, was wondering if anybody has gotten the C++ grammer working 
out of the box. Comments/impressions/experiences with the C++ 
grammer are much appreciated.
