[antlr-interest] Non-determinism

Sounds like it's very difficult to avoid :-(

Trying to explain simply, when it tries to parse eg an if statement, you
can have "IF THEN" and "IF THEN ELSE". It can't tell the difference
between the two when it hits the THEN. It gets worse :-( because I'll be
trying to parse IF condition LOCKED THEN ELSE ON-ERROR where the syntax
says they're all optional provided there's at least one of them. OUCH!

while generating .java file, antlr is showing some warnings related to
non-determinism .Can anybody explain what it is exactly ?
