[antlr-interest] Building for Debugging?

I attempted to turn on the debugging mode for my parser, got this
exception:

java.lang.RuntimeException: setDebugMode() only valid if parser built
for debugging

My grammar has the option analyzerDebug=true set in it, but i still
get this.  How can i fix this?
