Huh? Are you sure you are not mixing threads?  The original poster (Anthony
Youngman) made it very clear he had no problem with installing Java to run
ANTLR.  Note the first sentence of his message (quoted in its entirety):

AY: or may not like it, if I'm clever enough to understand ANTLR, then I'm
AY: clever enough to understand Java.

Just to be clear, when you say "run ANTLR" I'm assuming you don't mean "use
ANTLR" or "run an ANTLR generated parser".
