Ironically, 2 of them don't apply to Java anymore (i.e. 3K and 3L, at
least in Java 1.5).  I wonder how many of the other 50 reasons will
eventually "fall". :-).

Not a knock against, Java, C++ or the list, just a comment on how one
minute things that are "bad" become "good".  Interestingly, this is
somewhat related to  Jon Udell's latest blog entry at:
