Well, to be clear, remember that that is an *experimental* branch of Antlr
called Antlr v2.8e.  Loring has done a ton of work over the years with
Antlr, particularly in the area of tree handling.

Loring works at NASA JPL and that is a US government organizaation.  Loring
spent a lot of time and effort getting that bureaucracy to let him release
his Antlr work and that's the best result that they could work out.
