I'd recommend taking a peek at

CPL is pretty good, and they recently tweaked it to create the EPL. Issues
such as patent litigation are addressed, and is the main reason EPL was
created.

Lots of lawyers from big three-letter acronym companies were involved in
this one, and it's flexible enough to warrant a look...
