You'd need to look inside the .jar file.
The ST classes in there have timestamps as:
24329 Wed Sep 06 13:02:32 CEST 2006 org/antlr/stringtemplate/ 
StringTemplate.class

Sep 06 was the release date of ST 3.0, so I infer that it indeed is 3.0.
"About" boxes are notoriously easy to forget to update...
