[antlr-interest] Return types on lexer rules do not seem towork.

You are not mistaken. ANTLR3 lexers are simpler, leaner, meaner beasts and the return types and so on are not supported. 

Alex: Rather than bemoan this though, perhaps we can see what the intended use of the return types is?
