I've got both 1.5.0_10 and 1.6.0-b105 available on this system, but have 
been running ANTLRWorks on the 1.5 JVM.

And I've confirmed that ANTLRWorks is oblivious to externally applied 
changes to the files it has open.

And it happens when I use Java 1.6, as well.

Perhaps it's Linux-specific? I'm on SuSE Linux 10.0, which uses kernel 
2.6.13. If it might matter, my file systems are XFS.
