Well Darien,

"I think X should be Y plus whatever that
thing was from before." is not pseudocode

i would rather write it

if X = Y + Z 
   then X:= 0;


so you might be able to translate this statement in any programming language...

My question is simply is anyone here has done this exercice ?

(Btw there exist some formal pseucode, and i do not want to spend time
rewriting one more pseudocode when it is not my purpose)
