Yes, and of course it isn’t relevant because that isn’t ho the 3.1
runtime works anyway, and is C not C++ J

Meaning that Darien's advice was only relevant for 3.x?
The original post is, however, about ANTLR 2.7 ;-)
You could open up the .jar files and change the template file (.stg) so
that it instantiates some customized subclass of BitSet in generated
code.
