[antlr-interest] Should I use Antlr v2.7 or v3.0?

I recently started to learn Antlr, and hope to use it in one of my projects. I am not sure whether I should use v3.0 or the old version. I would like to reuse some of the existing grammars such as the SQL grammar. But it seems like most of those grammars were written to work with v2.7 instead of v3.0. Any suggestions? Thanks!
