[antlr-interest] Complete ANTLR 4 grammar for ANTLR 4?

I have lost track of the current state-of-play/plans on this issue.

Is there, (or is there a plan for), an ANTLR 4 grammar that completely specifies how to  digest the ANTLR 4 language itself?  (E.g.: avoids hand-written lexer.)
