[antlr-interest] New user

I am a new user of Antlr.  My interest is in the Java
grammar.  I am having a lot of trouble understanding
the grammar based on the docs.  Am I missing some
idiot's reference or does it just take tons of time
invested in understanding the specifications of a
grammar file?
