[antlr-interest] A question about literals

The parser rule that generated it is:

datatype
        :       "varchar" (size)*
        |       "varchar2" (size)*
        |       "number" (size)*
        |       "date"
        |       "integer"
        |       "long" ("raw")*
        ;

I can really change the varchar2 literal to varchar_two.

That's weird. It probably doesn't like the '2' in varchar2. Try
varchar_two maybe?
