I've tidied the version I posted on Friday up a little, and run some 
comparisons with the previous version.  I'm now much more sure it's correct.  
I'm attaching the new version.

I've also included a grammer java14.g which inherits from java.g, and adds 
support for Java 1.4 style assertions.  Since this syntax is optional in 1.4, 
I've not rolled it into the main grammer.
