[antlr-interest] Writing XML grammars from a DTD

Hi,

Is there any development focused on translating a given DTD to an ANTLR
grammar?
Generating a lexer from a DTD shouldn't be so difficult, right?

I'm interested in comparing the performance of a simple XML ANTLR-based
parser against a SAX implementation.
