  The University of Utah has a pretty active group in Natural Language
Processing.  Take a look at:

    http://www.cs.utah.edu/nlp/

I'm sure that there are many other groups.  I've only just started
reading in this area.

  Again, my impression is that this is very different from computer
language processing.
