[antlr-interest] question

Hello guys,
   Could you help me find good fundamental materials about
   mathematical basis of different classes of grammars used in
   non natural languages parsing.
   Right now I need to know computational complexity of building and
   using lexical and syntax recognizer. But also I'd like to know more
   about all this stuff...
   I'll be very appreciated, if you could help me.
