In addition to the translation of the #(...) as a whole, the root and each
child c1..cn will be translated. Within the context of a #(...) construct,
you may use: 

id or label as a shorthand for #id or #label. 
[...] as a shorthand for #[...]. 
(...) as a shorthand for #(...).
