Hi all,

I hope this is no misuse of this group, but I'd like to announce a new
release of my XPA (Xml Processing for Antlr) tool:

http://www.zeigermann.de/xpa/index.html
http://www.zeigermann.de/xpa/download.html

After Terence Parr and Matt Benson embarrassingly revealed that XPA
can actually do without a patched version of ANTLR, this new version
now works with the clean, standard 2.7.2 release.

XPA enables ANTLR to process XML in form of
- token streams, and/or
- ASTs
generated from adapters provided by XPA.

This allows for transformations on ASTs representing XML and also
writing these special (but no normal AST) XMLASTs back to plain, flat
XML. You can also process XML token streams when you do not want to
build up ASTs.

So, give it a try :)

Oliver

P.S.: I plan to give XPA a new development platform (maybe
sourceforge?!).

Is there anyone out there who would like to participate in the
development of XPA. I can gurantee it is fun!

Terence, as XPA seems to be nearly mature now, would you like to
integrated XPA into the standard ANTLR release?! I am willing to
donate any rights I may have and might need to do so :)
