Don't get the error here. Probably something temporary.

Well it gives a lot better score than yahoogroups and a faster way to
browse the archives.

As I said before there's a lot of good opensource mail archive packages
around. Combined with a good small website searchengine you might get
something quite good quite quick. I have very good experience with htdig
from www.htdig.org. It's a nobrainer to setup and has been running stable
here for years without any user intervention (and it's very good with
search results and ordering).
