One other trick--find out which synpred is causing problems (if there
is only one). There will be two (or more) alternatives differentiated
by the synpred; try reversing the order of the alternatives (and
change the synpred accordingly). If you are using a synpred on a low
probability alternative, then it will almost always generate an
exception; if you reverse the alternatives, it may rarely do so.
