[antlr-interest] Installing ANTLR 2.7.4

I am trying to do a configure/make of ANTLR 2.7.4 on an Alphaserver running
Tru64 Unix 5.1. I am getting an error on the make that says "Make:
Makefile:   Must be a separator on line n.   Stop." where 'n' is a line
number in the Makefile. Does ANTLR require gmake?
