I'm generally not terribly keen on using the author's name (sounds kinda
self-important) either, though some last names roll off the tongue nicely...

Stanchfield would make a lowsy tool name ;)

But Bovet (pronounced properly, and I'm not French and knew how ;) has a
nice ring to it.

Not that I'm voting for it, but wanted to propose it as a kudos ;)
