Looking at all the conversation on the list for a better ST name I
couldn't stop myself from thinking about it :) Why do I feel

So I looked at current templating engines names. Those that come up
first in google include:
 - Smarty (PHP)
 - Velocity
 - Cheetah (Python)
 - StringTemplate

In honour of Terence I though about "Parence." But I felt the idea of
templates was somewhat lost.

After that I thought maybe play on velocity: in physics velocity times
mass is momentum. But I felt that was cheating and kind of boring too.

Then I thought, why not something a little more artistic. Being
french-canadian, I figured french usually adds style and distinction to
normally boring english names.

I looked at roots of the word template. There was templet which bores me
to death, and temple which is really misleading. The idea of stencil
then popped in my head. So what do you think of "Estenceler" (.est file
extension: Estenceler String Template, to keep some of the original name
:) ?
