mmh. but isn't there a possibilty for a java process to signal
something to its
caller? surely there must be.
If ANTLR is embedded I see what you mean, but it's not likely that a
plugin of some sort
would use the stock Tool class without modification, or is it?
Coming from a *nix world, I'm not too familiar how these Java
thingies do their magic.
However, for build systems (make et al) this is desirable, so I think
the enhancement ticket
I opened is somewhat sensible. I don't think it will get high
priority just yet, since there
are more important matters that need to be dealt with.
Of course, someone could step up and have a look at the issues
involved - there's no harm in that.
The code involved is rather confined, so it would be a good
opportunity to get one's feet wet ;)
