On a related (infrastructure) note... I know that you use Perforce.  
Is it true that there is no such thing as an anonymous checkout? (I  
acquired this understanding when I was trying to evaluate Perforce  
for use on my own projects; I went looking for large public  
repositories so that I could have a look at how it handled large  
codebases but I couldn't find anything at all.)

I know we can download an up-to-the-minute tarball from the Fisheye  
interface, but it's not quite as nice as being able to do things like  
"svn co", "svn up", and "svn diff" etc...
