Same issue here. It works when invoked this way
  java -cp antlr-3.4.jar org.antlr.Tool grammar.g

I'll leave it up to the Java-literate to investigate/explain/fix ;)

(Sun^WOracle Java 1.6.0_26 if it makes any difference)
