The java.g file in antlr v3 has

num obj.prop refs: 6227
num reflection lookups: 5791

where there may be 3 reflection lookups per obj.prop ref.  Afterwards  
there are:

num obj.prop refs: 6227
num reflection lookups: 30

I'm guessing for most people this won't help much, but you can grab  
the jar again (same 2.3b6.jar) to get the updated cache.
