I think this is often needed.

Did you mean that a warning should be sent in strict mode only?. I can
imagine times when it would be prudent to turn this off.

The viewer would be a help when it's finished but oftentimes, one just needs
ST# to barf (or bark) when used attributes are missing and, unused
attributes are present/set.
