[stringtemplate-interest] defineTemplate thrown away by checkRefreshInterval

Greetings,

I observe strange behavior of directory-bound StringTemplateGroups. Namely, if 
they have additional templates defined by defineTemplate, those get removed 
when the refreshInterval expires. Is it by design?
