[antlr-interest] ANTLR 3 License

The intent is extremely clear.

And if you have difficulty understanding the Open Source licences, I
would conclude that you haven't read any MS EULAs :-)

Also, Open Source licence violations are almost always settled amicably.
I can think of only one court case - MySQL/NuSphere - and I gather
NuSphere caved in once their lawyers realised they were in blatant
breach of both the letter and spirit of the licence. But note I said
*blatant* breach of the *spirit* of the licence.

I know I started this - if I started a flame war then sorry. But I have
a strong preference for the LGPL. (I don't particularly like the GPL.)
But the standard Open Source rule is "he who writes the code makes the
rules". Having been involved (with a personal interest) in another "what
licence should we use" battle, I'm well aware of the issues involved...

Cheers,
Wol

Wow. That was rough. Personally, I'm not the least
bit ashamed to admit having difficulty in
understanding the dizzying wording of the various
open-source licenses.
