Thanks, Ric, for the great response.  I'll just hit a few points and then
shut up. :-)

Oh and BTW, 'netiquette nanny says: Remember to change the subject line
when changing the subject being discussed in your message!

Indeed.  As with all "etiquette", it is phrased as a "rule" but is really a
"guideline" to help make conversation amongst members of a community more
valuable/useful/etc. to everybody, not just one person.

Indeed, having multiple copies of a bad grammar in the archives is, IMHO, a
very bad thing.

Also, there is a spot for complete, (good, I hope) grammars on the Antlr
web site.

Finally, again, there's a big difference between a small test grammar which
shows the specific problem and just posting an entire work in progress and
saying "here it is, I know it sucks, please fix it for me."

Actually, I send out nags about those things too.  I just don't do it very
often. :-)
