[antlr-interest] Survey: Places where parsers and compilers are used practically

we use it mostly for simple DSLs

text files in these languages provide descriptions for protocols, 
menus, GUI, data flow networks, ...

which are parsed statically and produce source code with stringtemplate

now I know that this is called "model driven [software] design" :-)
